IT WAS DOUBLE delight for Gascoigne Primary School as they added the regional round of the Danone Cup to their Evans-Moore Cup triumph just three days before. They wrapped up the Essex round for London Boroughs, defeating teams from Redbridge, Havering, Waltham Forest and Newham to go forward to the overall county final in the Spring.

Meanwhile, in the girls’ competition, Valence Primary finished as runners-up for the second year in succession, meaning that they will also represent the borough in the overall Essex final.

Godwin repeated last year’s performance by finishing third in the girls’ competition whilst St Peter’s Catholic Primary ended up sixth in the boys.
